This Week's Literacy Tip

Play with language:  Read rhyming books. See how many rhyming words you can think of together. Use words that start with the same letter (alliteration) and help your child to hear the letter sounds- ex: 'Big Bob bounced a ball.' Phonological Awareness

The Creative Play Awards are run by Creative Steps magazine, and the winners and those who were highly commended appear in the November/December 2010 issue of Creative Steps magazine.
